This carefully organized tour gives you about 30 minutes at Playa Escondida, always following the park’s rules and taking care to preserve this special place.

The trip begins in Punta de Mita, one of the closest points to the Marietas Islands. After a short boat ride, you’ll arrive at this protected nature reserve—a great option for those staying in Puerto Vallarta, Nuevo Vallarta (Nuevo Nayarit), Bucerías, or Sayulita, as it reduces travel time and allows you to make the most of the tour.

To reach Playa Escondida, you’ll swim about 100 meters through a natural tunnel, accompanied at all times by a certified guide who will assist you and lead you along the safest routes. The guide can also look after your belongings—such as your cell phone or camera—to keep them safe and help you take photos on the beach.

Due to park restrictions, access is limited, so we recommend booking in advance.

In addition to a visit to Playa Escondida, the tour includes snorkeling among tropical fish, a photo stop at the Puente de Piedra, and a stop at Playa Nopalera, where you can swim, walk along the shore, explore caves, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The excursion takes place on a covered boat, equipped with a ladder for easy access from the water, and returns to the Punta de Mita pier at the end.

It is essential to be in good physical condition, as part of the tour involves swimming approximately 100 meters through a natural tunnel. This ensures the safety and comfort of all participants.

CANCELLATION POLICIES

Tour cancellations are 100% refundable if made at least 72 hours in advance. If you cancel between 72 and 24 hours in advance, you will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance. The customer must notify us of the cancellation via message, phone call, or email to our official accounts. If the tour is canceled by the company, the full amount will be refunded with no additional charges.
